Find your exact NEC model

A product family is a starting point. The complete model code is what determines compatibility.

1. Read the product label

Look at the label on the underside or back of your device, or the original warranty document. Record the complete model code, including every suffix. Do not publish your serial number.

2. Check Windows system information

Open Settings → System → About to read your Windows edition and system type. Press Windows + R, enter msinfo32, and check System Model. Compare this with the label; if the code is incomplete, use the label.

3. Identify the component

In Device Manager, open the device’s Properties → Details → Hardware Ids. Match the component ID and manufacturer against the supported devices in the official driver documentation.
