Find your device hardware ID
Your NEC model can have more than one network, camera or audio configuration. Identify the fitted component before selecting a vendor-specific package.
- Open Device Manager and locate the component, including an unknown device if that is the problem.
- Right-click it and choose Properties. Open Details, then select Hardware Ids in the Property list.
- Record the identifiers exactly and compare them with the supported devices in NEC’s package documentation. A vendor name alone is insufficient.
Identifiers beginning with PCI\VEN_ or USB\VID_ describe hardware; they are not your NEC model number. Keep the full model code from the device label as a separate check.
Confirm Windows as well
Press Windows + R and run winver to record the release. In Settings → System → About, record the system type. Select the matching release and architecture in the library, then the exact model-type column. If NEC’s documentation does not establish a match, leave that package unselected.
